- FORMAT: A structured hackathon featuring multidisciplinary team building, project development, and expert-led presentations.
Join SoCo, MTC, and Replit for the SoCo x MTC x Replit Colabathon, a purpose-driven hackathon in Berkeley where technology meets community impact. Under the theme 'Together we are unstoppable,' participants will work in cross-functional teams of designers, engineers, and organizers to tackle real-world problems presented by nonprofit partners.
Teams will choose from three critical tracks: addressing international challenges in Palestine, supporting immigrant protections at the national level, or fighting homelessness within our local community. By combining technical expertise with thoughtful design and organizational strategy, you will turn abstract ideas into functional tools that serve those in need.
At the end of the event, teams will pitch their solutions to a panel of experts and nonprofit representatives. This is your chance to build with purpose, solve concrete problems, and compete for exciting prizes while making a tangible difference in the world.
