ABOUT THIS EVENT

WHO IT IS FOR: Dance enthusiasts, social butterflies, and anyone looking to make new friends in New York City.
WHAT IT IS ABOUT: A celebratory anniversary event featuring a public flash mob and a community picnic in Central Park.
FORMAT: A casual social mixer combining a choreographed dance performance with a relaxed outdoor gathering.

Join the Dance Social Club in Central Park on Sunday, September 13, for a high-energy celebration marking our first birthday! Whether you want to be center stage in a flash mob, film the latest dance trends, or simply relax in the sun, this free event is the perfect way to connect with the NYC community.

While the dance activities are a highlight, they are completely optional. You are welcome to simply bring a blanket, snacks, and games for a casual afternoon picnic with new and old friends. All skill levels are welcome, and while a prior session will be hosted to teach the basic moves, no previous experience is required to join the fun.
